We do not collect payment information. All payments are made via Interac e-Transfer directly through your banking app — we never see your banking credentials.

To process and fulfill your research compound order
To send order confirmation and shipping notification emails
To respond to your inquiries
To maintain records of research acknowledgments for legal compliance purposes

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly opted in.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Order data is stored securely in Supabase (a Canadian/US-based database service) with encryption at rest and in transit. Email confirmations are sent via Resend (an email delivery service). Access to order data is restricted to authorized Helix North personnel only.

We retain order records for a minimum of 7 years for legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (subject to our legal retention obligations) by contacting us.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

Canada Post / courier services: Your name and shipping address, to deliver your order
Resend: Your email address, to send transactional order confirmation emails
Supabase: Your order details, stored in our secure database

We may disclose your information if required by law or by a valid legal process.

6. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

As a Canadian resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you
Request a copy of your personal information
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Withdraw consent to the use of your information (which may affect our ability to process your order)
